何が素晴らしいって、登場人物がみな生きているんですよ。地に足を付けてそこに存在している。中村勘九郎じゃなくて金栗四三、綾瀬はるかじゃなくて春野スヤ。役所広司じゃなくて嘉納治五郎。役者じゃなくて、登場人物がそこにいる。彼ら彼女らの生活が想像できます。
外伝とかいくらでも書けそうです。「シマの女中日記」とか、問題なく1クールイケますね。
視聴率低迷とかいろいろ言われてますが、評価は高いようですし、このまま突っ走って欲しいです。

I think the most attractive point is that characters are living in drama.They exist really. He is Shiso Kanakuri, not Kankuro Nakamura. She is Suya Haruno, not Haruka Ayase. He is Jigoro Kano, not Koji Yakusyo. They exist really, not actors. We can imagine their daily lives.
I think author could write side stories. The theme of "Daily report of Maid Shima" should be ok for one season.
Now "IDATEN" is said that its audience rating is low. But fans and specialists recognize its contents, I hope "IDATEN" will go ahead in this style.
